The Pretty Girl’s Friend
I’ve said before that I’m not the best looking. My friend on the other hand is very beautiful. We’re the complete opposite of each other. She likes the moon. I like the sun. She’s White. I’m Asian. The sun burns her skin while it tans mine’s. Her hair bounces at her shoulders and naturally ginger red, while mine is raven black and flows down my back. Even though she’s not ‘model skinny’, she’s nicely curvy with all the weight settled in all the right places (huge boobs). She’s a gamer girl that likes painting and watching horror movies. Every guy’s dream.
Every time we go out, guys always flirt with her. They come up and give her a note with their name and number. Sometimes, even the guy I’d have an eye on, would go up and ask her out when I’m standing right by her side.
I’m never mad at her. It’s not her fault if guys like her more than me. Of course sometimes I’m secretly jealous, but I would never hate her or say “You’re stealing all the guys!” That’d make no sense. If a guy likes her, then that means they’d never like me in the first place, whether if she’s there or not.
To be fair, I try to use her looks to my benefit. If I have a guy I’m crushing on, I’d try and bring her with me when he’s around. That way, if he makes a move on her, I’d know it would be a lost cause to try to continue to pursue him.
Honestly it’s pretty nice to be the pretty girl’s best friend. All the sweets guys give her, she’d share with me. And every time an ex-lover would send her flowers to apologize, she’d immediately send them my way (she hates flowers as a gift).
It’s not all that bad, but each situation has their pros and cons.
