Please Use Your Critical Thinking Skills
I have my first exam tomorrow and I’m not scared at all. Luckily, the teacher allows us to use a cheat sheet. It’s supposed to be a 5 inch by 7 inch note card that can be handwritten or typed on both sides. Hehehehe. I learned the smallest I can go is to type in 3 pt Arial font. Make sure to use a LASER printer and you should be able to read it with ease. Next week, I’ll have one more exam and she’s letting us use a cheat sheet too! Standard A4 paper but only one sided and only handwritten. I can work with that. Make your own personal lined paper that’s spaced half a centimeter apart. Draw the lines with a 0.38mm black pen, and write the notes in 0.5mm lead. People always say “If you put in as much effort as you do to cheat, then you can use that same energy to study.” Shut up. This isn’t cheating since the teacher kinda legalized it AND this technically is a way to study.
Just like over the summer, I’m not shooting for an A, I just want to pass. So fingers crossed!
ALSO, you know what’s kinda odd? My part 2 of the Immersion Day post has more reads compared to part 1. That shouldn’t really make sense since part 2 wouldn’t make sense without reading part 1 first (maybe?) but I just thought it was something funny.
I don't understand how some people lack critical thinking skills. I know I'm not one to talk, but really? In the Discord chat for this class, other classmates are asking about specifics on the cheat sheet.
"Is 5x7 the size of a note card?"
"How big is a standard note card?"
"How can I get a piece of paper to be 5x7? I can't just cut it"
"What if my cheat sheet is 7x5?"
I want to bang my head against the wall so bad. This is mostly everyone's graduating semester. How are these people 4+ years into college and are this dense? Do they not have Google? That same question they asked in the chat can be easily copy and pasted to Google for an exact answer. Do people not own a ruler anymore? Can you not measure out 5 inches by 7 inches? What's stopping you from cutting a piece of paper down? AND if your cheat sheet is 7x5, JUST TURN IT 90 DEGREES! THERE NOW ITS 5x7! Everyone in this class is 21 or older. How have they survived in the world this long?
TLDR: stupid people make my head hurt
