Family Guy and Pavlovian Conditioning

Because nothing much has happened these past few days, I will share an embarrassing secret of mine so there’s something to post about.

For those that don’t know what Pavlovian conditioning is, Russian physiologist Ivan Petrovich Pavlov did an experiment with his dog and tested if it could be classically conditioned through bells and dog food. At each meal time, Pavlov would ring a bell to signify that the dog food was about to be served. After a while, the dog became conditioned to automatically start salivating the moment he heard a bell ringing, because it knew that food was going to appear shortly after.

How did I classically condition myself like Pavlov’s dog?

So, because this house has super thin walls and I’m living with 6 other people, it makes it very difficult to masturbate in silence. Others would just turn up their music really loudly, but I can’t imagine tainting my precious songs like that. Every time I’m driving with the music on, I don’t want to be suddenly reminded of how roughly I was using my dildo right at that verse. So instead I usually just turned on some YouTube videos really loudly (like MattPat or Joshua Weissman) so it might also give off the illusion to the other people on the opposite sides of the walls that I was just innocently watching random videos.

Nowadays, I’ve been watching a lot of Family Guy. Whenever I start a new show, I like watching the episodes in chronological order. For those that know, Family Guy has over 20 seasons worth of episodes and has a lot of run time. So for the past few months, instead of YouTube videos, I would play a Family Guy episode whenever I’d be feeling frisky and wanted to go to town. Now because of that, I inadvertently conditioned myself to start getting horny every time I start watching a Family Guy episode. I would just be scrolling on my phone and leaving Family Guy in the background, but then I’d find myself starting to get wet out of nowhere.

In conclusion, Peter Griffin’s voice gets me wet and horny now.

That is all. Goodbye.
